New mags on the block

A by-product of sustainability hitting the mainstream agenda is the boon it provides for the media and marketing industries. ‘Green’ pages are growing like topsy  – just like ‘tech’ pages did in the late nineties.

One of the more readable titles in the emerging Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) segment  is ‘Good’ from HB media, which promises to be a guide to sustainable living.

Also on the coffee table in the office is ‘Voice’, the new PR industry mag produced by the Public Relations Institute and 3media. No URL and I think PRiNZ misses a trick in not making greater use of the web to build a community within the PR industry. The ad industry has www.campaignbrief.com/nz as a place to debate, celebrate and keep each other honest.
