Basking in reflected glory at Hi-Tech Awards

That the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards goes from strength to strength sure bodes well for the industry. This year some 750 people attended, with apparently a record number of entries.

Three Pursuit clients collected awards on the night.

Congratulations to Biomatters(Best Emerging Company), IBM NZ(Best Contribution to the New Zealand Hi-Tech Sector by a Multinational) and Klickex(this last one for CEO Robert Bell, as the 2012 Hi-Tech Young Achiever.)

Knowing these companies’ backstory as we do, seeing them up on stage made for an even more memorable evening.

The NZ tech industry needs to be more confident talking about its successes so it was also fitting that technology marketer Andy Lark was recognised with the 2012 Outstanding Contribution award.
