Paul O'Leary

Paul O’Leary – Director

Paul’s PR career has been agency-side in Wellington, London, Sydney and levitra florida online Auckland. Prior to co-founding Pursuit in 2007, Paul was the New Zealand MD of Text 100 Global Communications.

Paul first felt the infectious optimism and drive of tech entrepreneurs working in public relations in London during the dot com boom – and bust. Since then he’s worked for some of the world’s biggest technology brands like IBM, Cisco, Facebook, Instagram and Fitbit. He’s also helped many Kiwi software companies communicate their value to customers and early stage investors.

Paul enjoyed four years in London, with two independent agencies as well as Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Clients ranged from start ups in VoIP and IP-TV to large scale corporate and consumer programmes for the UK Aerospace Industry Association, English Tourism Council and BP.  In Sydney for five years, with Text100, Paul started a deep client relationship with IBM that continues today.

After graduating with an LLB / BA from Victoria University of Wellington, Paul kicked off his communications career in that city in 1996 with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.

In 2010 Paul co-founded InGame Limited, a digital studio. InGame complements Pursuit’s communications services, developing apps and video games to increase user engagement in a range of education, training and levitra indiana health and safety scenarios.

Stephen Knightly

Stephen Knightly – Director

Stephen is an experienced marketing and public relations consultant, having worked in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East.

His experience includes communications consulting in several countries for Fonterra, KPMG, Hewlett Packard, Telecom New Zealand, DHL,, XBox and two New Zealand universities. As well as leading the Microsoft public relations agency team in New Zealand, Stephen has worked for Microsoft at a European level on international product launches and issues management.  He is passionate about New Zealand technology exporters and startups.

His skills include sales management, brand development, integrated campaigns, market research and marketing information systems.

Stephen holds a Masters of Management Studies from the University of Waikato, where he was later Director of Marketing for three years.

Stephen is also a director of video games consultancy InGame.

Gavin Ogden

Gavin Ogden – Senior Account Manager

Gavin is an experienced technology PR consultant and buy real levitra online journalist. In London he wrote for and then edited leading video games titles in print and online for Future Publishing. Relocating to Auckland in 2010, Gavin wrote for Techday’s IT Brief before moving into public relations.

Since joining Pursuit in early 2014 Gavin has built up a client portfolio of global brands and up-and-coming New Zealand technology names. These include IBM, Facebook and Instagram, connected health device brand Fitbit, Lenovo, ecommerce provider EstarOnline, and fast growing ISP Snap.

Before joining Pursuit, Gavin worked for another Auckland agency where his clients included Symantec and Brown Brothers Wine.

Eugene Afanassiev

Eugene Afanassiev brings a range of visual and written storytelling skills to his role as a Senior Account Executive, including experience as a photographer and no prescription zithromax online assistant casting director. Eugene joins us from Auckland PR agency Camino where he supported public relations campaigns for ad agencies, motoring brands and national science organisations.

An Arts graduate from Auckland University, Eugene was a volunteer International Students Officer where he made good use of his French and Russian language abilities.

A Call of Duty veteran, Eugene backs himself against others on the office Xbox.
